At Milhench Supply we know how hard your staff works to keep your facilities in top shape and make sure they represent your business in the best possible light.  Floors are often a challenge and stripping and waxing can be a long and exhausting process, especially in New England where we experience four seasons and the resulting debris that is tracked inside.

Unless you are Martha Stewart most people often don’t even notice day to day depreciation on your space, yet when it is cleaned up the response can make you say, gosh, how did I not notice?  It is not a simple project to strip and wax floors.  The Aztec Worksmart VCT Strip System is manufactured by the family owned and operated company Aztec, located just outside of Philadelphia. (Note: family owned is highly regarded by Milhench Supply, read our story here and the Aztec story here).

With respect for the Aztec company and our admiration of their equipment, we want to introduce you to the Aztec Worksmart VCT (Vinyl Composite Tile)  Strip System, a cost efficient, highly productive and environmentally friendly option for stripping and waxing floors.

Highlights:

Aztec uses propane powered burnishers: for those not familiar, the purpose of a floor burnisher is to shine a floor finish as quickly and inexpensively as possible.  The power source could either be a battery or propane.

Benefits of propane to power the Aztec products:

  • The cost is half as much as Battery Burnishers
  • They work at twice the speed of Battery Burnishers (ISSA 540 Cleaning Times)
  • They have twice the head pressure of battery burnishers
  • They weigh half as much as Battery Burnishers (this is very helpful to the person doing the work and can reduce potential injuries).
  • There is unlimited run time with quick-change tanks
  • The piece of equipment can be easily moved with or without power to system
  • It uses clean-burning Liquid Propane Gas (LPG)
  • The equipment has an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval as “Green” power source (we have mentioned Green on the blog before, you can read Which of the United States are The Most Green & How Milhench Supply Plays a Part or Packing Peanuts, Are They Really Biodegradable?)
  • Owning an Aztec floor machine could increase a facility’s LEED score by adding credits when using IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) dust control system

To give you a quick summary, there are many positives to the using a floor burnisher: increased productivity, decreased cost and more environmentally friendly.

Typically, the goal is to shine floor finish as quickly and inexpensively as possible, yet there are so many additional pros to using an Aztec product, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss or demonstrate the equipment with you, the catalog and two demo videos are below (note how quickly the machine moves across the floor and with very little effort by the operator).
